Payment Policy

This Payment Policy sets out the terms governing all payments made to The Mindstars for sessions and services. By completing a booking and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy in full.
IMPORTANT: All payments made to The Mindstars are strictly non-refundable. By completing payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy without reservation. |
SECTION 1
Pricing and Payment
1.1. Session Fees
The fees for all sessions offered by The Mindstars are as published on our website at the time of booking. All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. The Mindstars reserves the right to amend its fees at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid.
1.2. Payment in Full
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of cleared payment. We do not offer instalment plans, partial payment arrangements, or payment-on-delivery terms.
1.3. Payment Methods
We accept payments through our designated payment gateway(s). Accepted methods include debit cards, credit cards, UPI, net banking, and other methods as made available through our payment processor. All transactions are subject to the terms and security standards of the relevant payment processor.
1.4. Payment Processing
Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment gateway. The Mindstars does not store card or bank account details. All payment data is handled in accordance with the security protocols of the relevant payment processor. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful payment.
1.5. Currency and Taxes
All fees are inclusive of any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) where required by Indian law. If you are booking from outside India, you are responsible for any applicable local taxes, customs duties, or additional charges in your own jurisdiction.
SECTION 2
Non-Refundable Payment Policy
ALL PAYMENTS TO THE MINDSTARS ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE. Once payment has been processed and your session booking confirmed, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to: change of mind, personal circumstances, dissatisfaction with session content, or failure to attend. |
2.1. No Refunds on Change of Mind
If you decide after booking that you no longer wish to proceed with your session, no refund will be issued. We strongly encourage all prospective clients to read our service descriptions thoroughly and direct any questions to us at Contact: hello@themindstars.com before completing a purchase.
2.2. No Refunds on Non-Attendance
If you do not attend your scheduled session without prior notice of rescheduling (as described in Section 3), your payment is forfeited. No refund or credit will be applied.
2.3. No Refunds on Subjective Dissatisfaction
The Mindstars provides astrological and psychological self-knowledge sessions. Session content is subjective and interpretive by nature. Dissatisfaction with insights, observations, or session content does not constitute grounds for a refund. We encourage all clients to review the nature and scope of our services before booking.
2.4. Partial Sessions
If you voluntarily end a session before its scheduled conclusion, no partial refund or credit will be provided for the unused portion of the session time.
2.5. Technical Disruption
In the event of a technical disruption to the live session caused by The Mindstars (such as our own system failure), we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session at no additional cost. Technical disruptions on the client’s end (including unstable internet connection, device failure, or incompatible software) do not entitle the client to a refund or rescheduling at no cost.
2.6. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional and documented circumstances (such as a serious medical emergency on the part of The Mindstars practitioner that prevents the session from taking place), we reserve the right — solely at our discretion — to offer a rescheduled session or, in rare cases, a session credit. No cash refund will be issued in any circumstance.
SECTION 3
Rescheduling Policy
3.1. Client Rescheduling
You may reschedule your session once, at no additional charge, provided you give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled session time. Rescheduling requests must be made by email to Contact: hello@themindstars.com.
3.2. Late Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session time will forfeit the original booking. A new session must be purchased at full price.
3.3. Second Rescheduling
If you have already rescheduled your session once and wish to reschedule again, this will be treated as a new booking. Your original payment will be forfeited and a new payment will be required.
3.4. Practitioner Rescheduling
In the rare event that The Mindstars needs to reschedule a confirmed session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer you the next available appointment at no additional charge. If no suitable alternative time can be agreed within 30 days, a session credit (not a cash refund) will be issued.
SECTION 4
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
4.1. Chargeback Policy
By completing payment, you agree not to raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider on the basis of change of mind, subjective dissatisfaction with session content, or any other reason not attributable to proven fraud or payment processing error. Raising a chargeback in breach of this policy may result in you being permanently prohibited from booking future sessions with The Mindstars.
4.2. Disputed Payments
If you believe a payment error has occurred (for example, a duplicate charge), please contact us at Contact: hello@themindstars.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will investigate and respond within 14 working days. Legitimate payment errors will be corrected promptly.
4.3. Fraud
If you suspect unauthorised use of your payment details to make a booking, contact your card provider or bank immediately. You should also notify us at Contact: hello@themindstars.com.
SECTION 5
Gift Sessions and Promotional Offers
5.1. Gift Sessions
Sessions purchased as gifts are subject to the same non-refundable payment policy. The recipient of a gift session must contact us to schedule within 6 months of the purchase date, after which the gift session will expire.
5.2. Promotional Pricing
Sessions purchased under a promotional or discounted rate are subject to all standard payment and cancellation terms. Promotional pricing cannot be applied retrospectively to sessions already purchased at full price.
5.3. No Transfers
Booked sessions are non-transferable to another person without prior written consent from The Mindstars. Where transfer is approved, a handling fee may apply.
SECTION 6
Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
Nothing in this Payment Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any breach of a condition or warranty implied by such legislation is limited, at our option, to the supply of a replacement session or a credit toward a future session.
